Nick Shepard

Nick started KC Home Solutions in 2012 with a hammer in his hand and an fervor to grow a business rooted in helping homeowners solve problems. With a passion for learning and always being open to new ideas, Nick has steadily grown KCHS into a one-stop-shop for all things remodeling. Now, few things excite Nick as much as a good framing job, but he also enjoys spending time doing crossfit, boating, snowboarding, and cheering on his daughters in their many activities. What can we say? He doesn’t like to be bored. Nick, his wife Tonya, their three daughters, and two dogs live in Olathe, KS.

Sarah Cooper

Growing up as the daughter of missionaries, Sarah’s journey has taken her around the globe. She spent her youth helping build churches, homes, and schools in Central America.  She has traversed much of Europe and also lived in Belgium, Wyoming and Washington. Luckily, life brought Sarah back to the Kansas City area and she uses her passion for building, space planning and organizing to create incredible, custom design for KCHS clients.  Her global influences bring personality and efficiency into each design. Sarah lives in Shawnee with her sweet pup!

Associate Designer

Kassie Fuqua

Kassie’s passion for design goes back as far as she can remember. As a KC local, Kassie knows all of the spots to find unique, incredible finds for our clients. Her incredible attention to detail and thoughtful approach are favorite attributes of the entire KCHS team. Kassie is completing her Interior Design degree at Johnson County Community College in addition to being a busy mom of three. She lives in Olathe with her husband, kids and two dogs.

Project Superintendent

Ivan Nunez

Hailing from Peru, Ivan is our man of mystery. A private guy and a man of few words, we can usually get him joking around or playing pranks each day. He brings an intensity to everything he does, is detail oriented, and on top of it all. They know him by his first name at Chipotle and you will find him playing soccer or doing cross fit in his free time. We can’t tell you where he lives because even we don’t know.

Office Manager

Kayla Olsen

While Kayla may be one of our youngest team members, it doesn’t stop her from being our mama bear. Knower of all things and keeper of the post-its, Kayla is our go-to cheerful face. Her sweet nature, attention to detail and can-do attitude keeps everyone energized and ready to tackle the day. She loves a mango margarita, sweet babies, and pups. She and her husband Justin (who also works for KCHS) live in Kansas City, KS with their two dogs Lolah and Jack.
